The program is run by Simon Andrews and Karen Davies, both registered psychologists.

August, 2008 - Optimistic Kids at Port Adelaide Football Club

In August 2001 Simon consolidated his knowledge and experience by travelling to the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia to undertake the Penn Resiliency Program (PRP) training.

The program was developed by Dr Martin Seligman. He is Kogod professor of psychology, former director of clinical training in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, and past president of the American Psychological Association. Dr Seligman has authored 12 books including Authentic Happiness and Learned Optimism.
